Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween...well a day late!! Saturday night Adam and I decided to carve pumpkins together. I had previously gone to the grocery store and bought pumpkins for 9 cents a pound, that means i spent about $1 per pumpkin. Sounds like a deal to me. Anyway, we decided we would have a little carving contest. Adam decided on this crazy skull design and i kinda make a funky frankenstein. It was originally supposed to be a witch, hence the giant wart, but i wasnt happy with it so i added the neck bolts. I dunno who won but we both had so much fun and quite a few laughs...mainly because of my mad carving skills!!! When we first brought in the pumpkins in the house and started cleaning them out, our kitties got very curious. Anything new seems to always excite them! So once we finally got the pumpkins cleaned out and carved we needed to put some candles in them. All i had were these rather large candles, needless to say we got burnt a few times putting them in the pumpkins before Adam came up with the brilliant idea to lower the candles in with some tongs. Well we about froze our butts of trying to take pictures outside with our pumpkins. For those of you who dont know what the weather has been like in good ole Washington...its gotten down to 19 degrees already. We have been told to expect 20 below 0!!! Holy crap, Good bye Texas!! On Halloween I had to work and Adam was out of town with some business appoinments. Well when i got done with work i felt like working out, so off I went to the gym. Adam ended up getting home about 630 and i got home shortly after. By then it had already been dark for 1.5 hours (yes it gets dark by 5!!) and it was freezing outside, so no trick or treaters for us. Well that was our Halloween this year...guess there is always next year!!!
